Reaper Bones Kickstarter

I've recently been pointed toward a new Kickstarter project by Reaper Miniatures, an online miniature shop you may have heard of.
This project is so interesting for us tabletop gamers, that I just want to mention this project here:

Why are we doing this?

Since the launch of Bones in March, a full third of the figures we ship are Bones Gaming Miniatures.  We have 8 pages of Bones suggestions going in our forum.  It's clear that you, our fans, want more of these Bones figures.  And why not?  They're awesome sculpts at a terrific price!  What's not to love?
As it turns out, they're also really expensive to produce.  The mold costs alone are astronomical.  In order to grow this line, we can do it slow and steady over the next several years, or we can defer to you guys and launch a bunch of new ones as soon as possible.
By the end of the year, we anticipate having 30 products in the Bones line. What this Kickstarter will do is at least double the Bones line to 60 total models: character models, new sculpts, big monsters, the sky's pretty much the limit.
All we need to kickstart this thing is your support.

You can pledge various amounts of money to support their project, but at the $100,- "Vampire" level pledge, you get a boatload of mini's, that will look amazing in your tabletop games. And the number of miniatures will grow as more goals are reached! Go check out their Kickstarter, and pledge!

  1. It is an excellent deal, even if you are not super serious about Minis you wont be able to find a lot set for the price point ($.50 per Mini!!!!!)

  2. More news: 1.66 million has been reached, so more mini's have been added to the Vampire pledge. Plus you can now also trade in your Sophie miniature for an additional $25,- dollars worth of addons. Hello Nethyrmaul! :D

  3. I personally dropped $700 on this kickstarter. Couldn't really afford it, but also couldn't afford not to. A deal like this only comes around once in a life time... unless Reaper does another one.
